Did anybody else run XBMC on the original XBOX?

I was going through my closet of junk recently and found my old xbox console.
It has a modchip with XBMC and a 160GB HDD. Hooked it back up and it still has all my games, music and videos copied to it. May keep me busy for a few days
Anyone else ever run this setup?

I ran Xbox Media Player (XBMP) back in 2002, before they changed the name to XBMC. Long live Team Xecuter and those modchips. XBMC was my main media playing appliance, played over SMB shares.

I totally forgot it was XBMP first. I feel like it was a pretty advanced media center for its time.

Yup. When I was a kid, I sent an email to the people who made the Chameleon chip for Xbox. I told them I had a gaming review site and I'd like a Chameleon chip to sample and write a review for. They asked for my address and ended up sending me 5 Chameleon chips in the mail for free! I ended up modding my Xbox and 4 of my friend's Xboxes. I was the coolest nerd in school for a while after that.
