Luckily I don't have a data cap

I seem to use 20GB a day or more though.

I make sure not to just leave it running if I'm not watching

I never go over 250, tbh

I noticed they've added a shutdown feature after so long of non-use

NIce

The Fire TV had a recent update for Vue. Wonder if that involves what you're talking about.

I'm almost at the end of my first month and this is where I stand with two TV's in the house and 700gb cap.
You can obviously see where the weekends are. Also that one day where 76 gb's were used, I'm pretty sure my MIL fell asleep with Netflix streaming that night.

I've used 221 gb since May 26.

We usually only have one tv on during the week from 7:00-8:00 am and 6:00-11:00 pm. On the weekends safe bet that at least one is on majority of the day.

As far as streaming services used, we use a combo of Vue, Amazon Prime, Netflix, and Kodi.

My cap is 600 gb so hopefully I won't go over
