Saw a thread a few weeks back about the new box. Any feedback is welcomed. Getting one installed tomorrow.

im on my 3rd box.
The first 2 kept crapping out on me, and after 3 re-schedules they finally came and gave me a working box.
Other than that, I like the boxes.

As usual, Cox can't get anything to work the first time and they're on the third time trying to get all of the equipment to work. Three Fire TVs later and I could just have PS Vue and be done with it.

Do new cable boxes still take 10 minutes to reboot?

That was my thread, its been great and no issues. The voice search is money. You will love it, huge upgrade from prior, even has current traffic conditions. Just hit the mic button and say traffic and it will bring the app up.

Do you have to pay for a tech to come install? They said I had to when I first got the whole home DVR. Those assholes will probably find a way to bleed another $75 from me

Mine is a huge improvement over the u-verse boxes we got rid of.

So far it's not that great. Really slow switching channels. Everything seems harder to do but looks really fancy. Remote turns off tv but not the box
