Chromecasting to a Roku

I just noticed today that my Roku 2 now shows up as a casting device. Do any of you know when that became available?

It was an option you had to select in the settings either at release of the Roku3 or not long after. My kids' Roku TVs came with it on by default and I got them about a year ago.

Ok, thanks. The Roku is not showing up consistently on tablets, phones and laptops. I'll have to dig in and see what's going on.

I've had issues with it not showing up on certain devices and not being able to play some videos so I haven't used it much. Hopefully it has improved.
