I have it. Only get max of 25-28. Had Att DSL which sucked. Uverse box is to far from my house so charter may be your best option.

At least in Abita and Mandeville Charter offers 60Mbps down. It's $39.99/month your first year. I personally get 70-75 almost every time I do a speedtest.
Charter is in the process of upgrading their network to 100 but I don't know when it will get to the Northshore.

You are probably on an old plan. I was only getting around 25 in Madisonville and just upgraded to 60/4 - monthly price is around $55 I think. They sent me a new modem for it to work. I usually get around 65-75 down and 4 up on speedtest.
