They have outages for hours at least once a month. Pisses me off when I just want to play some xbox for stress relief and they have this crap going on.

I haven't had an outage in a while but the worst part was their communication and lack of ability to handle it.

It's largely dependent on location. I have Charter and it is rock solid. Never outages. If I ever have outages, it's because I was messing around with Tomato on my router. I pay for 60Mbps and I always get at least 75. I usually confirm the speedtests that read this by copying down large files from my servers and they are accurate.

AT&T is out in my neigborhood digging fiber for 1Gb internet, so I'd imagine my charter internet is about to get better too.

Charter on the northshore is great. I pay $40 for 60 down and get around 66. It's been rock solid for me.

Northshore is where I'm at. I know it's not just me out either cause I'll go look at the outage map and it'll be red all around the new orleans/Northshore area.

I'm on the Northshore as well. Never an outage. It can be as localized as your node, or your house itself. Try giving them a call they can check your signal levels, maybe even pull a new line for you
