Looking to cut the cord and I've been reading through that giant thread but I haven't seen whether this is possible. Can it be done with TiVo or tablo? At that point, is it still worth cancelling cable?

Thanks

They don't allow you to DVR (even with a TiVo) but some of them allow you to tag a show and re-stream it later for a limited time.

For stuff on ESPN you can watch a replay on WatchESPN.com with your streaming services credentials (e.g. with my PS Vue login I can watch Ole Miss @ LSU right now on WatchESPN). But the games only last like a week or so on there.

Ok, that'd be plenty of time. Thanks

Tivo can only record from it's source, either OTA or cable. I use PlayOn to record from Netflix and other streaming services. ESPN3 and MLB are among the channels offered by PlayOn.

Tagging as you say college football for example on vue will dvr all college football games in the cloud for 28 days or whatever. I don't understand why you would need to use watchespn.
