I need to get a camera that would be good for taking pictures of Real Estate, inside & out.

I assume I need something that can do Wide Angle, but other than that, I'm clueless.

Anything under $300 that would be good for this?

Was gonna ask this too. A phone camera should be more than enough for you. Google's camera app even lets you take photo spheres, so you can create interactive photos that work like Google Street View.

10-20 mm lens (Crop Sensor) - 17-35 mm lens (Full Frame)

They may sell wide-angle external iPhone lens attachments now though so check into that if you want to avoid purchasing a DSLR.

"First thing we do is kill all the iPhones".

Get a nice full-frame DSLR with a wide angle lens - and put it on a tripod!! If you're in Real Estate, there's little reason not to.

I'd go on Ebay and get a used Cannon or Nikon setup with a wide angle lens and an external flash. I think a really good flash unit would make a big difference in taking quality pics inside a home.

In this day and age of cell phone cameras I bet you could get a great set up for cheap. You don't need anywhere near the latest and the greatest for casual pics you'd be taking. A several year old system in good condition would work just fine for you.

It's tough to say. On the one hand I take much better pictures with the DSLR even in automode than I ever took with a point and shoot camera. BUT, the pictures that stand out typically are ones where the subject I was focusing on stands out because of the superior depth of field you often get out of DSLRs. If you're taking a picture of a room, I'm not sure what a DSLR gets you, especially considering most of these will be viewed at a relatively low resolution online.
