Is the only thing better about it is that it's smaller? Do photographers just generally have tiny hands and no strength?

I'm toting around a D3000 and the reviews says it's like a brick. I'm just holding it like it's not there.

Bet the people who buy this give limp wristed handshakes.

Yes, but remember this is a medium format camera. Unlike crop and full frame, the sensor is roughly 1.6 times larger than the very best DSLRs out there. Medium format cameras are huge, bulky and not easily portable. They also cost about 20k. This is the first one that is small enough to take around logistically, and at half the price.

Progress....

Man I just bought my Nikon d810 earlier this year. But that's technology for you. It's still quite pricey, but I'll wait to see how the reviews come out. After all, for that price you can get into the Phase One system. Granted, it is more about portability. But at 9g absent glass I'd need to have serious top end quality.

The d810 is only dslr that approaches and equals medium format (Pentax, and only when at iso 64).

But that camera you posted looks bad arse.

I'm amazed at the price. I thought Hasselblad charged $10k just to send you a catalog.
