Will be getting one for Christmas (gift to myself and wife). So far I have looked at the Bose Soundlink and the Sonos Play speakers. Any other speaker I should look at? Price is not really an issue, just looking for the best sounding and best quality bluetooth speaker available to me. Will be using it around the house, back patio, etc. TIA

I've seen and heard some pretty good ones at Brookstone; worth a look.

I have this one also. Great speaker and a fantastic battery life compared to a lot of the other speakers. If I bought a second one I could sync then together but I haven't done that yet.

I can third the UE Boom. I've had one for months and only had to plug it in to charge it a few times. Maybe once every 3 or 4 weeks. Battery life lasts forever.

It really depends on what you want it for though. If I was gonna end up getting multiple speakers for multiple purposes and rooms, I'd just go ahead and invest in the Sonos.

I have the Bose Soundlink and love it. Really good sound and battery life is good too. I play it out on the back patio often. Sounds great.
