Doing a tailgate and want to watch some games on ESPN. Anybody have any recommendations on the best way to do this? Only options I know if:
Get a satellite/direct TV and pay as you go or add on to your current plan
Get a mobile hotspot from Verizon etc and have wifi to stream from laptop
Stream from watchespn app on phone and connect phone to HDMI on TV. Data $$$

The best way would be the Directv HD dish, because you wont run into bandwidth problems. (this is only if you are handy with being able to set up the dish outside, or have the auto-align dish).
Second best would be to connect to a fast local wifi network and run your smart tv/apple tv/etc.
Third would be any combination of streaming over your cellular provider, which will run up all kinds of data charges and cause bandwidth issues if you are in a highly populated area (which you will be on a gameday).

The best and only reliable way is to get a Satellite.
I have the Dish tailgater, and I pay $85 a month during football season.

The problem is I'm doing this once. Maybe once a year during football season. I hate to go thru all the equipment cost plus that $60-$80 monthly fee for one day. I understand it is the best option. Just didn't know if their was another one people had success with. Thanks.
