Best way to run speaker wire across wood floor without going along wall?

I have a Sony surround sound system (nothing high tech here) and I want to move the two rear speakers from next to the TV to behind my couch. I currently have all 5 speakers by the TV and want to go back to a good surround sound environment. My living room is an open floor plan so going along walls is nearly impossible, and I really don't want to put holes anywhere in my apartment. Has anyone ran wires across wood or tile floor and made it not look redneck? I've looked into wire covers but there are so many to choose from and I usually give up reading reviews. Figure yall could help.
Length from receiver to behind the couch is about 13 ft.TIA.

No rug
And we have a dog so I need a way of concealing the wire so he doesn't eat it and people dont trip on it from the slack

This is neat, I've never heard of it. How exactly does it work? I have been looking at it online but no one explains that well. Also, can you plug the sony wires into it? Shaped like below:

The receiver will still need to be plugged in. I believe you just get a converter or splice to get the wires to fit.

wtf is that? Never seen receiver speaker wire plugs like that. I assume you can strip the end that goes into the speaker to plug it into the rocketfish box.

those HTIB's usually have that.

There's lots of Utube videos on it as well as other comparable products.

Yea I got this for Christmas (6 years ago or so) for a starter surround sound for my small apartment. Still use it and have no complaints about sound quality. My Xbox One sound comes out of it.

You can use that, you will have to cut the wires though.

I just watched a video and I'm thinking this. The Sony connector is just some proprietary thing Sony made to plug wires in. It's the same wire as normal speaker wire so I think I can cut the wire about a foot from where it plugs into my receiver and separate and splice it to insert into the wireless receiver part like normal wires. I can do the same thing for the part closest to the speaker. This is probably a lot simpler than I thought. The speaker wire seems really thin though.

It is very thin wire.
Keep in mind the piece that goes with the speaker needs to plug in to an outlet. So there needs to be one somewhere in that side of the room.

Wireless requires a speaker with an amplifier as the wireless receiver isn't going to have power to push a passive speaker.
