best tablet for under $100

I want to purchase a tablet to keep in my vehicle for use while I'm at work. I work at different locations every day, so it would be in the truck almost all the time. Need it to browse TD, Facebook, occasionally use Google maps.
I have a Galaxy at home, but I don't want to carry that one in the truck.
I went to Best Buy and looked at them, and not sure what one would be best considering combination of price, quality, speed, etc.
What one would you tablet gurus recommend?

You can do all of this with a cheap Amazon Fire Tablet

Only thing I would recommend is looking for a used 2013 Nexus 7. Still an amazing tablet, and usually find them for ~$100 used
