What's the best laptop I can get for web browsing and basic word processing for this price?

I'd like it to run quickly and have a nice screen.

Don't care if new or refurbished.

I've been looking on Arrow Direct but not sure if this is the best option.

Thanks!

I'd look at a chromebook. They wont have the functionality of a laptop but they will have a nicer build quality and screen than a laptop at that price. They'll be able to handle browsing/media/office tasks fine. The new chromebooks this year will launch with Google Play support, previously launched chromebooks will get Google Play support at some point "soon".

Thanks.

So if I bought a refurbished Chromebook, it could be updated with Google Play support?

I don't really know about a refurb...they almost function more like a phone than a laptop, so its up to the vendor to push an update out. I don't know if all chromebooks will get the Play support or its a set list.

Check this out: LINK

On that list is this one which will get the Google Play support: LINK

Also don't forget if you order through Amazon you can get the item refurbished through "Amazon Warehouse"...that can allow you to get something at a higher price point. Also Dell, Lenovo and I think HP have an online "outlet" store. I just bought an XPS 13 from the Dell Outlet, will be here today.
