Yep, no surprise, given who helped create them (Monster).

but but everest cables

$21,000. It could buy you a car, it could be a down payment on a house, you could take off on a couple of amazing vacations, have a really nice wedding, or it could pay for your sick mom’s liver surgery. Better yet, how about 3 meters of speaker cable?

3 meters dont think that will reach but one of my rear surround speakers. better order more cable.

Audioquest Everest cables is so 2008..

What are the differences and how do they effect quality, sound, etc

In the tear-down, the noted differences were in build materials. Beats are made to "feel" like a premium product, using heavier, metal components. The teardown notes that the use of metal in some areas of the Beats headphones serve no actual durability purpose and are only meant to add to the weight or visual appeal.

I think MKBHD does a good job at breaking down what you're paying for with Beats. MKBHD on Beats by Dre

They also have pretty great customer service and return policies. I've read of several people breaking them in half and getting a brand new pair sent to them.

That said, I will never buy a pair of Beats.

I hope so. They have paid for those headphones 10 times.
