More reason for the ones that had trouble through this flooding with AT&T and already have a bad taste in their mouth..

It seems that it only affects you if you change your data plan. However if you change to the new rates, there will not be a fee for going over your data allowance just a hugh reduction in speeds.

I'd rather pay for the extra data than have it throttled down to dialup speed.

Well $15 per Gigbit over your data allowance can get pricey real quick. Plus I imagine AT&T gets a million calls a day about data overage charges.

I have a pretty sweet deal right now with att that I hope never goes away. We had a 15 GB plan for 3 lines @ $100/month and I had it doubled for no extra charge to 30 GB during a promotion they ran in November 2014.

Yeah. I pay 169 per month for three phones full unlimited talk/text/data due to the at&t Directv bundle. Guess it doesn't affect me? Hope not.
