Costco has an "Arlo Pro Smart" 3 pk bundle for $470. Im guessing its the predecessor to Arlo Pro 2?

Interested in feedback on the Arlo brand, and if the Pro 2 is worth the extra $200?

Main differences in Arlo Pro vs Arlo Pro 2

Arlo Pro:
720p
110 degree view

Arlo Pro 2:
1080p
130 degree view

edit; to me, the extra $ is worth it. but i also have an itch to buying the newest equipment.

I have three Arlo cameras. One is Pro 2.

Not worth the extra money. Go the cheaper route. They’re all awesome.

Difference between 1080 & 720 isn’t noticeable to you?

No because the cameras are 10 feet in the air. When you zoom in there’s very little difference to me. Not enough to pay hundreds more, put it that way

You'll need the extra money for batteries

Picked up a few Arlo Pro 2 cameras about a month ago. Easy setup and seem to be working fine so far with no issues knock on wood.

Have it and love it. Move it around based on whether we are in town or not

Any tips on who would have the best prices on an Arlo Pro or Arlo Pro 2 bundle? Anyone have experience buying the ones labeled as "Refurbished" on Amazon?

another edge of Arlo pro 2 is the continuous recording. The arlo pro couldn't do that. It only records when it detects motion. Clearer recording on pro 2 too!
