Did a quick Google search and looks like this may be an issue with their latest update. If this is happening to others, I'm sure it has been discussed ad nauseam on here. Can someone point me in the right direction please.

All non-purchased music not from iTunes is now not accessible from my music app on iPhone. All my old CDs, etc

This is why I no longer have an Iphone. frick Itunes. Until you can drag mp3s/videos between computer and phone like you can with Android, I will never own another Iphone.

OP get an Android.

Google stores every mp3 in your possession in the cloud for free up to like 44,000 files. How in the frick does Apple not offer the same thing in 2016?

I have no fear of losing anything on my phone, purchased apps, video, photos, pdfs, all files etc and I've never ever backed up shite. Google just does it behind the scenes in real time and for free.

I literally hard wipe my phone from time to time and after entering my name and password, a couple hours later everything magically comes back including all my apps with no work from me.

This is stupid if Apple requires some manual fricking procedure to achieve a backup. It's like losing an excel file when your computer crashed because you forgot to hit save.

Thought we moved beyond that outdated paradigm 10 years ago.

Smh

They do, but in in Apple fashion it's $25/year and you can store up to 100,000 files.

That's possible with I-funbox just about every damned update from Apple kills it.

I like my iPhone but I fricking hate iTunes.
If you have an iPod classic (with platter hard drive ) adding music in iTunes works more logically. One doesn't have to sync; drag and drop wav and MP3 files onto the playlist.

Sometimes Apple products appear to be designed for the person that shouldn't be allowed to touch a pc.

Many keyboards have bit the dust over the years

Maybe that's why Microsoft got into the keyboard game

apple doesn't recognize FLACs meaning 95% of my collection wouldn't even work with apple even if i wanted to pay them. google is 320kbps mp3 and apple is 256k aac.

apple also won't let you stream your music over the web with iTunes match last time I checked either.

google is free and doesn't play games with me if i change services from iTunes Match to Apple Music or God forbid i cancel the service and so it decides to REMOVE access to the music i ripped off my personal CD collection meaning i have to go find my damn CD and re-rip it.

NO THANK YOU
