So Apple is doing their Beats promo again and I'm receiving the Beats Solo3. I want some around-ear headphones, but Apple won't let me throw the extra money on top of the offer to get the next tier up. Any suggestions on exchanging them at another store since they're brand new, unopened? Will any store actually do this?

I know it's a pain, but why not sell them and use money for what you want. Do you mean over the ear or on the ear?

Sell them and actually buy some good headphones.

Can't believe people still buy Beats crap!!! They spend about $3.00 making them and then charge out the arse for them and sheeple eat it up just because of Dre's name and that b logo.

They are way overpriced, but the quality has improved over the years. I would have agreed with you a year ago, but after trying out some of their new products, the construction quality and sound have improved.

The Studio Wireless 2.0 are pretty damn good.

I use the wireless beats (I think they are called Powerbeats) for working out and I love them.

Original price is $200, which is nuts, but I got version 2 on sale for $100 when the third generation headphones were released. I use them 5x a week and have no regrets.

Beats really are not that good since Monster stopped making them, even worse since crapple took over powerbeats are about the only decent thing they have

Apple > monster. Beats used to be plastic pieces of shite. They're much more solid now.

They're really not bad. I'm pretty serious about my sound quality preferences, too. The highs and mids are much more clear than previous iterations and the lows are as good as one would expect for bass-focused headphones.

they are not even that Bass focused anymore, i have a pair of the Studio Wireless and they distort if you turn them up all the way. Kinda shitty for 400.00 head phones i gave them to my kid.
