All of the sources it picks are problematic (videobee, uvid, etc.) and either come up with a 'log in' dialog i have to dismiss or the buffering is unbearable. i've gone in and cleared cache & other exodus settings (running 3.1.3) but it sits and walks through 10-12 sources and finally either gives up or i get a really crappy stream that constantly buffers.

never had a problem until the last week.

i'm back to casting cartoon HD from my phone to my fireTV because it never lets me down. disappointed in exodus.

I had an issue with it freezing up and such, so I reset my box. When it came back on, Exodus was completely gone. The shortcut went away from the main page and it missing from the addon list as well. So yeah, I've had issues and it was really frustrating.

Has anyone seen this before?

Apparently this is what happened: "Your internet connection was interrupted while Exodus was updating itself. No big deal, just reinstall."

My wife said she saw people complaining about this on facebook. I actually reset my Fire TV on Saturday and didn't see any problems on Sunday.

I don't see how this isn't going to become the norm. The economics behind Kodi are a house of cards waiting to fall. Napster/Torrent had the end user covering the costs for storage and bandwidth. Kodi streaming uses commercial web servers that typically make their money to pay for storage/bandwidth via advertising or subscriptions. That is bypassed when using Kodi, unless you do the aforementioned log in.

I just hope the file sharing sites stay viable long enough for Kodi to break the movie companies and give us some reasonable streaming rental options.

Go into Exodus settings and disable "captcha" to get rid of the streams that require a login.

makes sense. its interesting that cartoon HD still works 100% of the time without buffering or other bullshite but probably just a matter of time.

I noticed the streams this weekend had different names than in the past. Rogue One played flawlessly, but some of my tv shows buffered unbearably.

How do you clear cache?

I had a ton of issues 2 weeks ago, but it's been fairly reliable lately.

I honestly get more problems with kids shows than anything else. It's incredibly frustrating.

Yeah, the past week or so buffering through exodus has been pretty rough. It's not all the time, but when it starts I can't find a work around. I just have to wait until it stops doing it. I'm hoping whatever the problem is gets fixed soon.

A lot of people complain about krypton..I even complained at first until I set the home page up the way I wanted it..on my firestick I have the normal skin that krypton came with and I hid all the options except video and factories so it's not all congested but with my phone I just changed the skin back to what it was at Jarvis so it looks the same...it's called confluence. Both run smooth though add haven't had any problems.

It's not the UI, it's the Exodus streams that have started sucking

I see what you're saying but here's what I witnessed at my house..I pulled up a movie on my firestick that was running Jarvis and pulled up the same movie on my phone that was running krypton and had totally different links all together. My phone would stream fine but the firestick wouldn't. When I uninstalled Jarvis and reinstalled krypton to my firestick I had mostly all the same links as my phone as didn't have anymore problems with the firestick streaming..could it be a coincidence, sure but it worked on my end..

This. I don't see why they haven't already offered us something.

I probably go to less than a dozen movies a year and spend about $20-$30 per person on each trip. The majority of that money goes towards concessions and the like. Maybe the production company gets $5-$10 when it's all said and done. I'd gladly pay for a service (that works similar to Netflix) directly from the big production houses if they'd give me release day HD/4K streaming of their movies.

I'd probably pay nearly as much as I spend on movies just so I wouldn't have to deal with the crowds, over priced stale chips, annoying kids, jackasses on cellphones, and public bathrooms. The production company gets their money (if not more), I get to see the movie in the comfort of my own home, and because they offer me premium quality they don't have to worry as much about losing money to the illegal streams.

Which streams are ya'll using? The only ones I've found worth a shite are the Gvideo streams in 1080p or HD.

hard to say because when you select one if it cant connect it starts walking down the list.

i also pick the first one in the list and i've noticed sometimes it gets down to #9 or #10 before it starts to play so I honestly have no idea what stream i'm watching because i dont watch it that closely.
