Anyone have experience with In Wall HDMI/IR extenders?

So here's my situation.
I added a TV in my master bath above the jacuzzi. Instead of running coax and needing another cable box, I want to split the HDMI from the bedroom box and run it to the bathroom TV.
Essentially the bathroom TV will display the same thing as the Bedroom, and I want to be able to use the remote in the bathroom to control the cable box in the bedroom.
I came across THIS which says it'll do exactly what I want, but some of the reviews worry me. Has anyone here set something up like this before? Am i better off just running a straight HDMI cable and doing IR separately?
Distance of run is somewhere around 75 ft.
Thanks

Get a cheap HDMI splitter and see if it works before hooking it all up. If it does, you should be good

Just pick a channel before you go drop a deuce.

TVs are on opposite walls of the bedroom and bathroom, so it's across both rooms. It's closer to 50ft I just wanted to go a step up.

I have a similar in wall setup using the monoprice setup. It is an hdmi extender as well and runs thru a cat 5e or 6 between jacks.
They also have setups that you place on both ends of an hdmi connection and extend the ir over the hdmi.
