I have a 65" Vizio M series.
I bought the 60" and 70" Vizio M Series TVs. The 70 is the main TV with everything hooked up to it. Picture is very good and I sit maybe 7 feet away. True HD is flawless and Video Games are great.
I need to move my internet connection and router to that room because the signal is really weak. So watching something streaming like ESPN3 last night doesn't always look so good. When the signal is strong I've streamed 1080p on the XBOX and it's stunning.
Any non HD stuff is going to look rough. But that is such a small part of viewing I wouldn't be concerned.
The only real negative is this TV puts out a lot of heat. The room I use is a 12x12 bedroom converted to a media room and it can get a little warmer than the rest of the house. There are no issues in the Den where the 60" is and I doubt the 70" would be noticeable either.
If I had it to do over again I may have gone for the 80" instead. It does run about $1200 more, though. 60% increase in price for 14% more screen would probably be a tough decision.
