Anyone Else's Chrome browser suddenly change fonts?

Desktop was locked last night. unlocked this morning and the font is huge. WTF?

I've tried zoom and font size, and nothing has gotten any site to look right.

Edit: Guys, if you want it the old way, use the method /u/Lord_Hippo told me.
they switched to a new design language called "material design". to switch back, enter "chrome://flags/" in the address bar, scroll down to "Material Design in the browser's top chrome", change the option from "default" to "non-material" and your back to the old look :)

Here's another oddity. I changed font size in settings. A message board somewhat similar to TD, but older with obviously different software, is affected by the change. I can make it to where the fonts is tiny. TD? Zero change.

I just messed with this too. click on advanced font and change to arial and pick like 90% zoom. Mess around with it and reboot Chrome. Still not the way it was but getting closer.

Notice how large the tabs are. And how large the address bar is and how large the font in the bar is. Notice I can only fit two posts on my screen. Look at how large the scroll bar on the right is. Compare that to the tabs at the bottom which are normal size. It's like I'm using the AARP browser. This is after I've already adjusted the fonts and zoom.
