Bluetooth/Amplifier boards seem inexpensive online. Thinking about taking this on as a weekend project.

Would love to see some progress pics on this. If all goes well I may also give it a shot

I was just thinking about something like this. The one in the OP looks fantastic!

Any update? My interest is peaked. I love my little JBL but it would be awesome to have something bigger with a huge battery I could take to the beach, camp, outdoor parties, etc.

I've been looking at some of the amps on Amazon for a 2.1 setup but I'm not sure where to start. Kinda like the idea of 2 4" full range speakers and one 6 inch sub.

For $900 it could be yours. LINK

The tiger stripe bamboo version looks badass too.

I'm pulling the trigger on parts now. Sure Electronics has some nice bluetooth and amplifier boards that are reviewing pretty well.

Been watching this guy's channel. Puts out some well-done build videos: LINK

After I clicked this link I watched his videos for like 2 straight hours . Looks like the ammo box is really easy. I might have to give it a go.

Interesting idea. Wonder if I can convert wired speakers outside to accept bluetooth without much difficulty?
