Amazon Streaming Video - devices question

Hi folks,
I've been buying from Amazon for years now, and last year upgraded to Prime for the shipping. I'm now learning about setting up the streaming services.
I have one blu ray player that has the amazon app installed, but can you install it on other "smart" devices that it doesn't come on by default, TV's, Blu Ray, etc.
I've been reading on their website and see a list of devices, but wasn't sure if those were devices with the app installed from the factory, or the only devices that it would work with?

Amazon fire tv or Amazon fire stick

Roku or Amazon Fire TV. Apple TV doesn't offer Amazon streaming and I'm pretty sure that google chromecast doesn't either. I'm unimpressed with Blu-Ray players with streaming apps.

Yes, most TV's come with the more popular Netflix and Youtube already installed, but a lot of times you can search the app database on the TV or bluray player to add the Amazon streaming app. Its not as available as Netflix but it is available on a lot of devices.
Or, as mentioned above, you buy another device if it isn't available on the devices you currently own.

Just get a fire tv or fire stick from amazon and then read up on the recent threads here about the TVMC add ons to be able to watch movies or premium shows for free.

Just know that the Android app for phones and tablets is beyond horrible. I'm embarrassed for each and every developer at Amazon for putting out that putrid shite.
