Looked at this one for a minute but realized it wasn't designed for a TV the size of mine to be perched on top of it.

Regardless for those of you interested in sound-bars, this is an excellent price ($229) based on what it normally sells for ($399).

Oh and there's one catch...You have to be a Prime Member to get this deal.

You don't have a shelf you can put it on?

I have this and it's good for what it is (better sound without a full satellite speaker system set up). I honestly don't know how it compares to other soundbars (the wife saw it for $199 on one of the shopping channels and with their liberal return policies I figured why not), but it is a significant upgrade to built in TV speakers. It's also good for playing music if your smart tv/streaming box has any music apps.

Our console table is reclaimed wood and was sort've repurposed by the furniture maker. One of the things we didn't do was build in a lot of room for the shelves underneath. Looks great but had to have something that laid on top. Just not enough room.

Have you considered making a shelf/stand to put the TV? I don't know if you have any wood or matching stain left over, but all you'd really need is a platform with legs/skids. The staining would probably be the hardest part.

This console is sort've a Lebowski-esque piece. We went with some reclaimed wood on our console, our end tables and kitchen tables that really bring our living area together. If you know what I mean.

In actuality, I have a Sony soundbar w/Wireless Sub and all of my peripherals fit perfectly as is.

I'm sure it really ties the room together...
