Mix Diskerud appears to be headed to Goteborg. NYC bought out the remainder of his contract; however, the buyout terms have not been fully agreed upon and NYC hopes to mitigate them by securing a loan. Initial reports say that Mix will get a look in Sweden through August and the loan could be announced any day now.
Mix penned a poem expressing his rage.
Somebody told me I'm not part of a plan
and if he was I - he'd run like the others ran
'cause the budget is tight
and binding contracts might
be broken, to improve 5-6 positions - in exchange for only one man.
He went on to say; "the message is clear -
unless you're clueless - 'cause you've lived it all year
since the budget is tight
and binding contracts might
not need to be broken if.... you crack, kneel or leave the hemisphere"
Who could tell so straight and clearly
tales of destiny I fight sincerely
when mental games
are attempting aims
to make me rage severely?
On and on the conversation went
about money spent

Mix is a good dude, but how does one go from national team to can't hang in mls. I never got to see him play for the national team, what are y'all thoughts on him.

Everything I've read is that he became more in love with living in NYC than playing soccer.

He wasn't that good. He was a good player in Norway, a below average player in mls. The Norway league isn't as good as mls, mix had a harder time. Plus he was never a big part of the usmnt. Guys like Graham Zusi and Kyle Beckerman have more caps than mix.

Yedlin has an injured thigh and could be out for 2 weeks. Will cut it close for the next Hex games on 3/24 and 3/28
