He's choosing America... He already considers himself an American. And if he would have lived here a few more months before going to Arsenal, they would already have their citizenship.
Early on, his parents wanted him to play for Ethiopia... They soon realized there was no way that was going to happen

G A R N T W A L L had an interview with rummenigge in which he said good EPL clubs have asked to take on Green on loan. sounded like there was still an outside chance that'd happen (as opposed to earlier statements which seemed to indicate he was staying with bayern for sure)

Luis Gil, Josh Gatt, and my create a player ran train with the USMNT. fricking Jurgen does not start me in the World Cup (after great seasons on top teams - it was City or Juventus at the time) and we lose. :/

That's the idea, but I don't know if it's set in stone or not.
I would say it is 50/50 at this point, whether he goes or not.
