I was pretty shocked at the statistic they showed during the game at how bad they have been at PKs recently

Has Ramos always taken the FK/PK's? If so, a change is recommended. He gaffed the PK, and his FK was an abortion.

I couldn't believe they let Ramos take it. Ridiculous decision.

The whole side looked both physically and mentally spent. It looked to be the fruit of not caring anymore.

Yeah, there is NO way Ramos should ever take a PK unless it´s a shootout and you´re into the tail end of the second five.

Xabi has always been the one to take them for LFC, RM and Spain.

according to Wikipedia, so clearly true, Villa has 7 PK makes for Spain, Xabi 5, Torres 4.

Hm, interesting. Was Villa on the pitch at the time?

think he came on just after.

xavi and iniesta can put a ball anywhere they want to. their pks against Italy were unreal. sure thought one of them would take it.

villa not on, xabi and cesc out, Torres wildly off form. their 4 most experienced PK takers weren't available. still...Ramos...

I´m sure Ramos harangued his way into it. Morale was at an all time low, in spite of the won PK.

I´m sure Navas wanted to take it (and should have), but Ramos probably pulled the number of caps card.

A butt ugly decision that pretty much sealed the defeat.
