I did a program after college, through the French embassy, called TAPIF. Basically they set you up as a teaching assistant in a French high school for a year. The teaching portion was hit or miss but the overall experience of that year was incredible. Still have friends in France, Italy, Iceland, Scotland, etc that I met there and have visited in the years since. I highly recommend.

Edit: My only gripe is when someone jumps from one team to another based on current form of the club. If you pick a club, you must stick with that club. Like Eric Cantona once said: "You can change your wife, your politics, your religion, but never, never can you change your favorite football team."

Can't disagree with this. As an Arsenal fan this new song "North London Forever" is so lame for an American to sing. It's embarassing to say the least. It's a way to hard try for me.
