No, it's due to FIFA not being sued for billions of dollars for brain trauma.

Thanks to both. I had heard about that but didn't put two and two together.

On the Twellman hates concussions front-

Speechless how #FIFA continue to turn an eye to the problem of traumatic brain injuries. #URG now #ARG are risking players' lives. #JOKE

I fear for Mascherano right now. He has no clue what he is doing and because FIFA has no backbone to stand up and legislate it's trouble.

And that's due to there being, you guessed it, limited subs.

Subs for concussions should probably be free. Surely soccer players would not FAKE such an injury to gain a competitive advantage.

The longer this goes 0-0 without cards, the higher the risk of a Nigel de Jong chest kick.

well that was probably deserved from the last foul, but that particular play didn't look like a yellow

Twellman is a drama queen. Not about this issue necessarily but just his commentary in general. I definitely didn't get the feeling from watching that Masch "has no clue what he is doing."

I didn't see Pele or Maradonna play live either. Doesn't mean they aren't great. He is one of the greatest players in my club's history, if not the greatest. Not some old dude.
