What makes NBC great is their overflow channels. If a game is not on NBCSports, they will use the extra channels to show the live games of other teams. Would ESPN do that?

then use espnnews, espn classic, espn u and espn 2

But NBC doesn't use their channels (msnbc, cnbc, etc) to show the games. They use empty channels from the cable providers. No way ESPN will put all live games on ESPN 2, ESPN U, etc.

NBC has a lot invested to see it slip away after only three seasons I would think. ESPN would be terrible during FB season with the 3 hr CFB gameday and NFL pregame stuff.

I enjoyed FSC but NBC has taken it to another level.
