I follow the Swiss hockey league pretty closely. It's easily the favorite destination in Europe for players, even with Russia offering more money. The Finns especially will go to Russia for a few years and cash in, then head to Switzerland where the pay is still good but not at the same level.

Poland and Czech Republic also have very beautiful women, if you like that sort of thing.

Soccer board. Know your demographic, bro

I will probably choose Switzerland. The country has a stellar combination of weather, culture, scenery, government, quality of life, and tax rate.

Cost of living and food would dissuade me, but it has some of the most beautiful scenery I've ever seen.

Obviously you will know what I opine. Were one good enough of course. In Spain you see every weather. Each region is very different as well, culturally speaking.

I also like Italy but there is some brutal heat and some brutal cold.

Spain's extremes are brutal as well but probably not as much.

If you've been to Switzerland you know it's tremendously overrated. Wonderful country, no doubt but not what you people think .

You're not bothering me. My formative years were here in the USA and a bit in England. The majority of my life has been in Spain. I'm back here since 2012.

You guys here are probably aware but Poland, Czech Republic, and Hungary are vastly underrated by the masses. Krakow, Prague, and Budapest are three of the most beautiful, lively, enjoyable, and affordable cities I have ever visited. Poland and Czech Republic also have very beautiful women, if you like that sort of thing.

Although I love Eastern Europe, and especially the Balkans (I spend a good deal of time every year there for work), Spain, especially northeastern Spain, is just better. Better food, better alcohol (Basque cider and patxaran > the Clear Liquor Crescent, and I'm a vodka guy), better culture (I'm biased, being ethnically Basque on my dad's side from the Pasaia area and still having family across the border in the villages around Biarritz and Bayonne), a much better climate, and is just fricking gorgeous (I took my wife to Spain for our honeymoon and we drove from Barcelona to the Basque Country; she sat in stunned silence basically from Pamplona until we reached where we were staying on the coast).
