What is your ideal 11 for the US? What is your realistic 11?

I used this site to make lineups. I figured this could be fun. If you had control of the national team, who would you call up? (ideal 11)
Realistically, given our current personnel and manager, who would you like to see play? (realistic 11) This might be the team you would want to see chosen to take on Mexico/Jamaica in October with a Confederations Cup berth on the line.
Here is my "pipedream" 11:
This would be cool to see, imo. Maximizes our strengths (2 striker system, packed midfield, lots of CBs) while minimizing our weaknesses (wing/back play). Of the 3 CMs, Bradley would play the 8, Cameron the 6, and Feilhaber the 10.
Besler is the fastest of our CBs, so he would play stopper essentially. Ream has played in a back 3 with Bolton. Omar is our best defensive player in the air.
Both Johnson and Yedlin are perfect for the wingback position.
Here is my realistic 10:
This is the lineup with players I could actually see Klinsmann using, in a formation I could see him using.
What y'all got?

Using your ideal lineup formation, the only changes I would make would be AJ for Dempsey (I just don't like Dempsey and Altidore as the two guys up front at the same time), and Brooks for Gonzalez. I would be OK with either Howard or Guzan.

Your troll game has been on point lately. I'm digging Morales out wide. It's the little details that show you care.

Your pipe dream gave me wood.

You got me excited thinking about Gordon heading crosses from Davis' magical left foot

When I see your ideal 11 (which is the same as mine essentially) it makes me sad that we will never see something like that.

Sheep,
You only have 3 players playing out of position. Please revise and resubmit.
Thanks.

I'd put Brooks in for Ream, but that pipedream 11 does look nice.

I don't see how you can have Zardes starting over AJ.

Yeah I'm sad that we half-assed the 3-5-2 for one half in Chile and then switched to a 4-4-2 again in the 2nd half and looked worse. I would like to see us try it again since I really think we have the personnel to run it very well. With 13 friendlies in the last year we really could have practiced and refined it.

I struggled with this a bit, but given Ream's experience in the 3 man back line, and his experience in general, I decided to go with him instead.

Speed.
Not much to choose between the two, IMO.

I like going with one speed option and one hold up option up top. Just another reason why Charlie Davies' car accident will always hurt.
