I made a thread a few days ago about how I was going to England March 12-20 and I got a ton of good info but I am still confused on how to buy tickets and where to buy them from? I'm looking into 4 games as of now....

Leicester City vs Sevilla March 14th (Longshot I know)
Tottenham vs Southhampton March 18th
Manchester City vs Liverpool March 18th (another Longshot)
Everton vs Hull City March 18th

Where could I look to buy tickets? Reliable sites? I'm willing to spend around $150-200 on them

From the clubs directly

stubhub and viagogo have deals with some clubs

I posted these links in the other thread, straight from the prem website

If you are looking to spend that much per match, just get hospitality tickets straight from the club.

from what i remember it was entirely more difficult than i imagined it would be. had to sign up for tottenham fan club, pay fee, and then purchase tickets when they became available to my level of fan club membership.

if you're a local supporter of a club that lives there this system is fantastic, and the prices/seats were super reasonable compared to a big time sporting event stateside. but if you're just traveling looking for a one off ticket it's a lot more involved that just logging onto a site and purchasing a seat like you can do here in the states.

this was my experience with tottenham only, i'm not sure how other clubs operate, but from what i remember it was a similar process. this was also a few years ago. it was absolutely worth it however, and we got decent seats for their match with united.

I used viagogo for tickets at Hamburg. Worked out fine.

Tickets at Fiorentina I picked up at the club ticket office. I was super nervous we weren't going to be able to get in but it went smoothly and we had pre ordered.

For Italy a lot of clubs are through viagogo. I used them for Chievo Verona tickets when Bradley was playing there and it worked fine. For Fulham (Dempsey) I bought it through the club site, I think, but it may have directed me to an outside website. For Nijmegen (against AZ Alkmaar) in Holland I emailed the club with an email address I found on their website, because they didn't have an English website and I couldn't figure out how to buy tickets. I told them I was a big Nijmegen fan from the US (I was there to see Jozy play against them ) and was hoping they could tell me how to get tickets for the game. They emailed me back pretty quickly and told me that they would hold the tickets for me at the ticket desk. Worked fine. Had eaten some cake from a coffee shop right before going in so the game was great Also, before the game started I got to see the AZ Alkmaar players get off their bus, and I yelled at Altidore, "Hey Jozy, good luck man!" Jozy looked over and gave me a big head nod and said, "Thanks man."
Oh, and in Italy at the Chievo game I talked to one of the stewards about being from the US and wanting to see Bradley play, and he was a total G and got me behind the restricted areas to get a pic with Bradley by the locker room. Chatted with him about 'Ol Bob in Egypt (at the time), and how US fans were rooting for him to succeed, which I could tell he really appreciated.

Good luck with the search. This board is a pretty great resource for figuring out these sorts of things. Just beware that some teams have convoluted club memberships you have to buy in order to purchase a ticket, and it makes a one game experience significantly more expensive.

Manchester City vs Liverpool

I believe this is a home game for City, it likely won't be hard to find a ticket on game day if we aren't in the dead heat of the title race.

I've seen plenty of bitching on the subreddit about people already trying to sell their season ticket and what not for this year. We're in full on melt.

Let's be honest it would be easy regardless

But if he wants to spent $200 a ticket, might as well get hospitality. Except Arsenal that shite is like £1000 for a league match.

If both teams are in the top four it may not be, but typically from what I've read, it isn't that hard to find a home ticket for most matches last minute aside from UCL.

That's badass do you travel throughout Europe a lot to see games? Planning on making trips annually in the next few years

Bro the Chelsea match this year there was still GA tickets leading up to kickoff that never sold. Your UCL are really easy to get tickets for. Remember buy one get one free

I met an American dude from Nola area in Dublin during the US v Ireland match that worked for City. He straight up told me how hard it is to sell tickets and how they cold call members and season ticket holders to buy more tickets before they give them away in the city center. I asked him if he went to a lot of City matches in his free time and he was like frick no. I'm a West Ham fan.

Look, clearly City and Monchengladbach isn't going to be a hot ticket. But go back and listen the crowd during the PSG, Real Madrid and Barca ties. If it's a big time opponent, the tickets sell out fast.

Obviously for the other 99% of the club's games, it's pretty freaking easy to find a ticket

I was in France that year teaching English and at the end of my contract I took one month and just traveled throughout Europe. 9 countries in a month and professional games in England, Ireland, Holland, and Italy. I would love to go back one day, and I plan on doing so once I have free time and disposable income (at least three years away ).

I've had to spend upwards of 500 pounds on super nice hospitality tickets just to 10000% know they'll be delivered to the hotel and I get prematch buffet and beers and stuff. Expensive but not as expensive as a plane ticket all the way there to strike out and not get to go to the game

You must have got them through a 3rd party to have them delivered to your hotel. That's extremely looked down upon by the league and a good way to get who ever those tickets actually belong to revoked.

You got lucky

Plenty of stories of people who did that and showed up to the match and the ticket doesn't work b/c the club found it on a 3rd party site.

500 a ticket, f that

This was my experience. I'm registered on 4 club's websites now and still had to settle for Fulham vs. Sheffield Wednesday. Turned out to be an awesome experience for my son and I but we really wanted to see an EPL game.

For Arsenal I just got a mbership. They send you are card and when you purchase a ticket, it goes on that card.

Plus when you sign up you get access to Arsenal Player. It has all their matches you can stream.

I know for Crystal Palace they have an international fan mbership and they gaurantee you at least 1 game or something like that.

So I was able to go to West Ham Arsenal at the Emirates and Palace Arsenal at sellhurst.

People complain about pricing over there, but I've paid way more for saints and LSU tickets. So for me it was no big deal.
