Don't get me wrong, that's our best XI but I don't think it's as solid in real life as it looks on paper.
Of that projected lineup, the most inform player is a dude who has never played with the team, meanwhile, Pulisic and Turner barely played, Dest never played, Weah hasn't played wing since the Obama administration, Musah and McKennie had shambolic seasons. Zimmerman hasn't been great in MLS this year.
I have nothing bad to say about Jedi. Same goes for Gio and Richards when they are healthy.
Basically, this was a terrible year of club football for this generation.

I wonder what the back 2 would be if Ream and CCV were healthy. Gregggggg trusted Zimmerman but I gotta think Ream would still be CB1 then you'd have to choose between Richards potential, CCVs strong club form this year, or Zimmermans experience.
And if Adams wasn't injured that would put Musah as the super sub, no?

I get it. I just look at it as Episode 1 of a Season that culminates with the 2026 World Cup. So let’s get the ball rolling with this group and see where we are. If it were anyone other than Mexico, a loss wouldn’t stick with me at all
