Because its all about GGG's ego. My system... And remember this is a guy that was fired from his job in Europe because his team couldn't score. Its a possession based system. "Possession without penetration is just masturbation." 'Rocky' Ray Hudson.

He's scared Gio's mom will crawl up his arse for making the offense centered around Gio?

The attack was built around Gio last match. They had him drop deep and be the trigger instead of McKennie because they wanted him to have the ball the most.

Ream had a telling comment last night in how Mexico was so predictable and played right into their hands.

know this is kind of off topic but what is the reason that GGG won't create an attack around Gio? He is by far our most creative player. Especially when teams are defending deep, wouldn't it be best for him to be on the ball the most pulling the strings?

Ya I think Gregggggggg got this one right last night. Gio had way more touches and was more involved than if he was just a ten. He was pulling the strings starting the attacks and then moved forward perfectly to be where he needed to be on the goal. Plus McKinnie has more assists this season than anyone in Europe not named KDB, so that makes sense keeping him higher based on what's he's done.

I want Gregggggg gone yesterday, but tactically he got it right yesterday.

“I think when I took over the team again, I talked about needing time,” Berhalter said. “The more that we worked together and the more that he believed that intentions were true and our whole staff has his best interest in mind, I think we started to gain trust.”

“If we didn’t put it in the past, it would’ve been affecting the team, and I think that was most important for both of us: to put it in the past and focus on the team,” Reyna said. “I think the last few camps since we’ve been back together, they’ve been pretty successful camps.”

Best part of the match was watching all the dirtbag mexican fans taking the walk of shame after the second puto chant.
