Martinique just hit the crossbar twice in three seconds, but didn't score!

Making our job more difficult.

So... win by 3, and we play either Honduras, El Salvador or Jamaica. Any other result and we'll play Costa Rica in Philly.

Panama wins 3-0, so we have to win by 3 or more goals (any such score will do) to finish top of the group.

We'll see if this lineup can get the job done. Chris Pontius starting at left back is a bit odd. He's a natural winger.

Honestly, I kind of want to see this group of players go up against a non-shite team like Costa Rica, but Nicaragua is now basically eliminated and have only scores one goal in 2 games... a big win may happen tonight to win the group.

ETA: Granted, if this team plays Costa Rica, it won't necessarily be this same exact group of players.

Never mind. I swear the stupid lineup in the MLS app has him starting at left back for some reason.

Why would they post an incorrect formation?

Hope he has a good game. The thought of Brooks, him, and CCV as our top 3 CB's for the next 10 years is exciting.

Sources have confirmed to Goal that Jozy Altidore, Michael Bradley, Tim Howard, Darlington Nagbe and Clint Dempsey have already joined up with the team and will formally join the roster for the knockout rounds

If I had to guess who they replace: Agudelo, Roldan, Johnson, Pontius, Morris (Have to think Bruce made a deal with Seattle to have Morris for the group and Deuce for the knockouts).

MLS posted our lineup wrong. I'm not going crazy.

MLS Lineup Page

ETA: And now of course they've updated it. That seems correct now.

I think EPB will be in our top 3.

Kind of dumb to waste 2 changes on GK's... Wonder if they send Guzan home just so he can finally join AUFC.

EPB has the potential to develop into something special. Juventus was looking at acquiring him for a while. I think a few more months of seasoning in KC before heading off to Europe might do him some good.

Most likely. Cann got injured, so Atlanta United probably wants Guzan ASAP to get integrated into the team.

Depends on what your goal is. We wanted Gonzalez to be on the team from the start, but FIFA didn't approve him in time. So Johnson or Hamid got called up instead. Now, Jesse is eligible so either Johnson or Hamid is going home. Kann is out for another 5 weeks or so, so Guzan will go back to Atlanta and Howard will take his place so that you still have one of your two senior GKs on the roster to lead the younger guys.

I think he'll head to Europe when his contract runs out this December.

Excited to see how Bill Hamid performs in goal. His last cap against Ireland was rough, but that wasn't his fault. The whole team played badly that night.

He has great reflexes.
