I think that a certain portion of the press likes him (maybe more respect than adoration). But I know a good percentage fear him. He has such a powerful influence that journos are scared to lose credentials or access if they question or publicly criticize him or his players.

Well, I have a feeling he's going to be hitting the bottle extra hard tonight. It's been a rough week for Fergie and the Mancs...knocked out of the League Cup by Crystal Palace, draw City in the third round of the FA Cup, eliminated from the European Cup before the knockout stage, and they are already 5 points off City in the league table by the beginning of Dec. With any luck, UTD will go silverware free in 2011-12.
