I only saw him once live vs England in 2005 at Soldier field. I wish I could/would have seen him more live.

He's given us so many moments. I'm always amazed this doesn't come up more...

We really needed that goal. And it was so good.

He put da team on his back in that second half. Go back and watch, even after that goal, he kept running at Slovenia. That's one my favorite games from him.

Everyone talks about the Algeria goal and rightly so. But if not for his second half against Slovenia, we go into the Algeria game with nothing to play for.

ETA: well a very slim hope, but almost nothing to play for

that goal is so fricking good. watching his eyes go up looking to slot it across is so awesome. you can just see his thought process. well, i guess nothing is on across the box, better just bang this home.

The Slovenia goal was soooo sweet, what a crucial moment for him to come through for us.

I'm still pissed we got robbed in that game, but it all worked out beautifully with the Algeria winner. (Also by Landon. Go figure.)

frick I'm getting angry all over again that he wasn't with us this year

If Cakes doesn't get a testimonial everyone involved with the USMNT should be sacked.

And he should get one with LA too. Maybe Everton...?

I'm tired of hearing people say this - we didn't really have a spot where an ice-cold finisher like Landon would have made a difference.

My god, that just made me go watch videos of Landon as penance. That was absolutely dreadful.
