The bad thing is we are going to have to move a striker before we sign another... Something needs to be done with Ade ASAP so we can get Kane some help. I'm scared this may not happen. I'm fine with keeping Soldado for one more year. He is useful for cup matches, but I would not be upset to see him go if we can get a respectable fee for him. Mid is where we should look first IMO

Reports say that Soldado is open to a move so that he can play more often. I'd rather move Ade as well, but if losing Bobby Soldier will facilitate an acquisition then I'm all for it.

I think it is obvious that we have a long term plan for CDM right now with Bentaleb and Alli, but Alli should not be starting prem games. I think we need an experienced CM who can sit back and, when needed, run the pitch to attack. We need that immediately going into next season.

Goals were not a huge problem for us last campaign, so in my opinion a striker is the position we worry about after CDM. The ball going into the back of our net was a huge problem last season, and we have already made some great signings for that exact reason.

I'm 100% fine as long as we sign a CM, we can wait until Ade is out of his contract to release him. For some reason I think if we keep Soldado, this would be the season he breaks out and runs wild on opposing defenses.

Everything I've read about Soldado is that in practice he is completely unstoppable, and never misses. I feel like he has to be very hungry at this point.

I'm sure he was hungry last season as well...but he's just not working. I would have loved it if he had. I feel bad for the guy, but at this point, let's find someone younger that may fit the system and the EPL better.

Apparently Lloris broke his wrist and could miss the start of the season. Time for Vorm to step up.

On the plus side, we may get to keep him if this causes teams to back off.

Yep. But it still sucks. If he misses any significant time it will cost us points. Hope Vorm has been practicing.

Although I'm trying to recall last season when Lloris was out with his knee injury if Vorm was that bad. I seem to remember thinking he performed better than I expected at the time. Hmmmm

Maybe....maybe not. I'd be much more worried without the added defenders we've signed this offseason.

A wrist injury sounds really bad for a goalkeeper. Depending on how bad it is, it could be months. He needs full range of motion in that wrist.

Agreed. Anyone know what happened? Was he fapping too hard?

Not much info beyond "fractured wrist" right now. His wife is smokin so if he's fapping that hard he's doing it wrong.

Not sure if it's related to the injury (most definitely not) but they had a scrimmage today. I liked the shots from distance.

Highlights from first preseason friendly vs Southend

Apparently Lloris fractured a minor bone in his wrist 3 weeks ago and will be ready for the opener. Via Twitter from r COYS

This is very good news. Now if we can just keep ManU away from him.

Looks like he has a brace on it but it appears to not be too bad.

Nah, he probably did a lot of fapping when we started signing defenders.

Also if you didn't see the new away kits that have somehow leaked into a Boston sports store here it is.

Digging it.
