Sometimes we do a great job controlling the game and then we have like 20 minutes of sloppy, undisciplined football. We really need to clean that up.

Solid win. We got a little complacent at the mid-point of the game, but I'll take the win, the points and the clean sheet.

Yeah after our second goal things slowed down and West Brom had the better chances so that was a little disappointing. That's my only complaint though we kept a clean sheet and finished the game off it's a weird feeling not biting my nails in the 85th minute

In store for a tough month. I felt like WBA was a must win going forward then southampton losing. Looking at our schedule we have left a minimum of ten points off the board with loses to relegation battling teams.if those 5 loses could have at a minimum been draws wed be tied with Man City that is a little disheartening knowing how close we are to being very good .

We've also won by the skin of our teeth too many times to count. We aren't that close to being very good. Our goal differential is low for a reason.

I believe our goal differential will start to expand as the second half of the season goes on. Kane and Ericksen are on fire if chadli, lamela and/or townsend can continue to chip in a few goals here and there ill be happy. Saw a picture where kane just took over the lead in the premier league for the most goals in all comp. with 20.

I think we are headed in a good direction, no doubt, but it's unfair to say we are close to being near the top when we are arguably just as close to being much lower. It's like Charlie tells Bombay after he says he would have scored if the puck had been just two inches to the right. "Yeah. But two inches to the left, and you would have missed the goal completely."

We still have a long way to go, but I am officially all in with Poch at the helm.

Samesies. It's cool to say Southampton is better without him, but who is to say they don't improve with him this year?

Yeah. I'm excited. Very versatile center midfielder. Scores goals, pushes forward, but he can also play deep (he did against United). He seems to have a great personality too.

He's young. And I think Pochettino is just the guy to get him to Premier League quality quickly. I'm super pumped.

Also Yedlin admitted he wasn't fit enough to play for Poch. Love to see him being held to that high standard.

I don't read much into Yedlin's quote. He's not going to contradict Poch in his first month. If Poch tells him he's not fit, he's not going to tell the media Poch is wrong.
