I was literally taking a depressed dump in a underground pub in Prague when this happened.

I think there was still dingles when I ran out and celebrated. It was epic.

I was at Summers Soccer pub in Arlington VA that day. People throwing beer everywhere and people giving hugs.

Makes me even more pissed about no Dono last round.

frick you Klins.

No doubt he would have done something against Belgium. He ALWAYS comes through in the big stage. So damn American.

I was being a vigilant camp counselor in City Park (New Orleans) for ungrateful 6 year olds.

Some of the lightning counters that team could put together were awesome.

That confed Brazil one was so badass. I thought we were going to win that game for sure.

For some reason, I think the Brazil counter is the best goal I have ever seen us score.

As for this goal, my 2nd favorite sports moment ever. How pathetic that it's a group stage goal against fricking Algeria? I don't even care. If it was anyone besides Landon, it'd be much lower. It HAD to be Landon. It was always going to be Landon.

Agree on all fronts. That Brazil goal was just soo badass. Landons touch and turn.

It looked like Brazil was shitting themselves. Then they just totally DOMINATED us lol. Still an awesome time period in US soccer.

It just was never meant to be with Onyewu and Davies going down. That was almost tragic honestly.

I was at a virtually empty hotel bar in Indianapolis with my Dad. I had a broken leg, so when Donovan scored, I hopped off my stool and nearly fell over. I caught myself and hugged a busboy because my Dad had gone to the bathroom.

I never listened all the way through to Harkes' commentary - wow did he drop the ball! Anyone who hates on Twellman or Lalas clearly doesn't remember being forced to listen to Harkes.

Ehh... Harkes was a shite commentator, but I'll give him a pass for being at a loss for words there.

It was pretty funny how Darke just took over after Harkes' "Here's the ball here... and..."

I fondly remember this as the day I fell in love with soccer.

I was working as a counselor at a day camp. I was pretty amazed we actually got the kids to sit and watch the game.

I'll never forget that feeling of depression from the certainty that we were about to be eliminated, to the sheer bliss from watching Donovan knock it in.

Also, crazy to see how much the team has changed since 2010.
