You could certainly make a case for the removal of a few players, but I'm not sure that a Premier League player would be a replacement. Its alignment with the calendar year kind of shits on the few Premier League contenders.

That is definitely a legit list.

He should be nominated next year, provided this season continues as it is going.

If he carries this form through next year, he should walk with a Ballon d'Or

Yeah I know. Its the calendar year thing. I'm sure he'll be included next year.

He would win in a landslide.

there´s only one, that´s Suárez. Agüero is hurt too often.

While I would go slightly further with my exceptions, e.g., including Kompany or RvP, I agree.

Agüero is going to be a monster if healthy, with Pellegrini. Then again, so is Negredo.

Pelle is a fandamnedtastic corch. He gets blood out of rocks. Uncanny.

ETA With Citeh´s money and Pelle at the helm, the PL is fricked.

Alves, Ramos and Xavi? wtf

Ibra and Iniesta? Ehh.

Alaba, Vidal, Pirlo, Yaya, Kompany, Baines, Busquets, Gundogan, Suarez, Robben, Gotze, Heskey all deserve shouts.

The two CMs I'd choose to replace Iniesta and Xavi

Think that the outside backs could easily be Lahm and Alaba

Ramos's crazy arse is always a wild card

I don´t know, it´s an über attacking side, is it not (provided they´re not going up against quality opposition, then Ibra is useless)?

Busquets is the world´s best, and Javi Martínez is soon to fill that role.

Vidal, great player, but these two are better. Hell, I´d even throw Modric into the conversation (with great confidence).

Sergio is very, very good. He´s a fricking loose cannon however. Pisses me off, almost as much as Pepe.

Álaba´s time will come. He will also be there for many, many a year. I can´t stress enough how much I like him.

It is, but it doesn't have to be

He'd push any CM in the world the way he's playing, right now

I think that it's funny that Sergio seems to descend into madness as Pepe becomes a reasonable player

Sergio´s always been an idiot, but he had two badass CBs at Sevilla to train him, and keep him in check.

He´s a fricking amazing footballing specimen, but he´s semi retarded.

Major official matches of importance, he tends to show up mentally nearly 70% of the time, but he´s going to have to press hard to be the Maldini he wants to be (yeah, I know Maldini wasn´t a CB, but Maldini is his idol).

Exactly. Think I read somewhere he had 3 goals in 9 CL matches in '13.

Xavi and Iniesta have been great players for years, but their time on this list has passed, sadly

Alves. Meh. Alaba or Marcelo for me.

Ramos wasn't great in '13. Then again, who was? Dante? Boateng? Kompany? idk

I hope Varane gets over his knee problems.
