Is that a record? I vaguely remember someone over 100, maybe Vicks... although I can't swear by it

Mother of god. I think that is a standard record (10 fixtures played).

There was a week last year where multiple teams scored over 100. BPG posted like 150 (I will check the league history tonight), but there were like 16 fixtures that week. He had Yaya who was captained and put up like 60 or so.

I once lost with 81 points I believe. I also has weeks where Suarez outscored half the league himself.

I will dig up the thread from two years ago (started by atom-z) to really figure out the best weeks.

Great time to get out of your funk. Another week of my scoring pretty well, another week without a win.

I could not find the thread/league site from two years ago, but I did not try that hard to be honest.

Going back to last year, it appears that Etm set an all-time record outside of one crazy week.

New standard week record: 2014 Week 7
99 points etm512

Old standard week record: 2013 Week 1
93 points bobloblaw

Aside: Bob stopped taking care of his team and fell all the way to a historic 6 point performance in week 29 (all the scores were very low, so I think there were only like six or so fixtures that week).

There were multiple scores in the 80's last year.

Week 31 of 2013 had nearly every team play twice for some reason, so the scores were crazy. BPG scored 150, I scored 132, and Wait scored 103 and lost to BPG.

That week also saw GeauxColonels go for 98 and Mick hit 95. The page where the scores are calculated can be found below:

2013 Week 31

Check out the 150 and the 132.

Week 31 scores: An Ivorian Shower Scene FC

GK
Petr Cech - 7

DEF
Glen Johnson - 6
John Terry - 6
Martin Skrtel - 19
Branislav Ivanovic - 6

MID
Yaya Toure (VC) - (31x2) 62
Ross Barkley - 20
Joe Allen - 3
Samir Nasri - 15
Gylfi Sigurdsson (subbed for (C)RVP) - 6

FWD
Loic Remy - DNP

Total: 150

Yaya went for a cool 62 and three other players broke 15.

GK Tim Howard (Everton) - 9

DEF Guy Demel (West Ham United) - 6
DEF Sylvain Distin (Everton) - 7
DEF Martin Demichelis (Manchester City) - 20

MID Steve Sidwell (Fulham) - 1
MID Jesus Navas (Manchester City) - 4
MID Leon Osman (Everton) - 11
MID Michu (Swansea City) - 4

FWD Luis Suarez (Liverpool) C - 25 x 2 = 50
FWD Wayne Rooney (Manchester United) VC - 15
FWD Samuel Eto'o (Chelsea) - 5

Subs:

GK Allan McGregor (Hull City) - 4
1. FWD Gary Hooper (Norwich City) - 1
2. MID Pete Whittingham (Cardiff City) - DNP
3. MID Frank Lampard (Chelsea) - DNP

Not on the bench:

DEF Liam Ridgewell (West Bromwich Albion) - 1

Total: 132 points

Damn, not even the highest score. Poor Wait for It. He broke 100 and got crushed.

I miss you Suarez

I won with 132. 103 lost (third best score).

Yeah, I desperately needed a forward and was loaded to the gills at midfield. Probably should have just ran the 3-5-2.

Still waiting on Jumbo, but I gave it enough time and we will do the weekly recap anyway.

Week 7 Recap:

The story of the week is the 99 points put up by etm. Outside of Andre Schurrle's 2 points, every player posted at least 6 points. Four players scored double digits. It was the performance of the season and a much needed shot in the arm. As posted above, this is an all-time record performance that broke the old record of 93 set by bobloblaw in week 1 of 2013 for a standard week.

Rdw won a one point thriller 47-46 over league leader BPG. The rest of the league is quite happy with this result. Rdw has now won three straight after dropping his first four contests.

The Jumbo-WSE fixture has been postponed. This was a highly anticipated match between two top three teams. The winners will climb to 13 points. The match will hopefully be played out soon.

Tigerstark were the hard luck losers of the week as they scored a respectable 44 points and got drubbed by a whopping 55 points.

Wait, War, and Tigerstark are the three clubs with over 300 points. They stand at 2nd (likely to drop to 3rd), 5th (likely to rise to 2nd), and 9th, respectively.

I believe Mick has won four straight now to find himself at 4-3.

My tail slide continues as I am now dead last in the standings.

I figured it had just stayed open since last week since we didn't have any games this weekend. Does the period start over after a weekend even if there are no games?
