I fricking love this. Every single ex-player and coach needs to be coming out of the wood work right now. Fox needs to be ripping Gulati a new one. ESPN needs to be ripping Garber and Gulatti a new one.

Some people on here poo poo the olympics but I think it's invaluable tournament experience for our young guys. Missing it twice in a row sucked. Plus missing out on the U20 and U17 World Cups recently has really hurt us.

I don't know if making or missing those tournaments is invaluable experience or not, but I do think it's a decent indication of the talent (or lack of) in those age groups.

Yes I like what he said about our players in MLS not having to fight as hard for their spots as those playing overseas. It shows too. Our veterans that have come back to MLS have for the most part gotten worse since coming back.
