I started following soccer during the South Africa World Cup. Ended up picking Swansea as my BPL team when I saw them play Man City on ESPN one morning (lost 4-0 lol). Over the years, my interest in soccer has gradually increased. Probably caught 10-12 Swansea games last season. Anyway, Sad to see Vorm leave. How's his replacement expected to perform? We signed Fabianski right? And is Jefferson Montero expected to be in the first team? Didn't really watch Ecuador in the most recent World Cup.

Yes I only watched him in a couple FA cup games but my friend who is an Arsenal fan said he's actually pretty good.

I know very little about this cat. But I prefer Routledge and Dwyer to start.

Remember that you hated Pletikosa during the World Cup, especially for his inability to strongly punch? That's Fabianski.

fabianski has been very good for us the past couple of years. on form, he's been better than vorm recently. he did use to flail at crosses (hence the flappianski moniker) but he's much improved in that aspect and is a great shot stopper. solid distributor of the ball.

When his head's in the right place, VVD could play for any club in the world. At times it looks like he's playing against little kids.

Matthews, however, is another story. A year and a half ago, he'd be a brilliant signing. He could play well in three positions. However, he then got hurt. His pace hasn't fully come back and his confidence looks shattered.

Chico and Hernandez are both leaving for Qatar teams, Chico is reuniting with laudrup.

Monk seems confident on Fernandez signing but obviously not in time for Man U

says he wants some other people too but no names

Gylffi will end up being a great get. The kid has proved he can score and create. He just needed a place to get consistent PT.

Bony had a thankless job of relentless hold up play. I'm trying to find a gif of it but he sets a body check on a CB to give Ki extra space for his goal. It was awesome.

Ki's goal had more passes in the build-up (29) than any goal in the EPL last season.

In celebration, a Ki commercial

As Spurs fan, I agree with this. A manager at Spurs was never willing to go through him as THE guy, which was understandable since lots of talent wanted to be on the field.
