Sunil has given Jurgen control over the website now, too.

They really need to cut this shite out. On one hand they want the US soccer public to become more involved and educated in the game. Yet when serious concerns are brought up they are always dismissed in some ridiculous fashion like this

Agreed. You can't selectively celebrate certain friendly wins while downplaying other devastating friendly losses.

Yeah the fact that they were lauding Klinsmann's victories over teams like Italy, Germany and the Netherlands (who are terrible now) looks quite contradictory to this headline.

If Klinsmann was worth a shite, they wouldn't have to run propaganda campaigns every few months to try to get us back on his side. It's ridiculous.

I'm surprised they didn't say "we fired Bob bradley" in the title.

The fact that one match led to Bob Bradley's firing--really just one injury to Steve Cherundolo--yet Klinsmann has been granted full impunity from USSF is beyond hypocritical.

We lose to Brazil fairly consistently, US Soccer doesn't post shite headlines like this. What about when we were slaughtered by Belgium two years ago? What about when Beowulf Bendtner looked like Messi last year in a friendly?

Yet we are the "unintelligent" and unrefined supporters.

I'd love to see a headline "Klinsmann unearths Benny Feilhaber from international hiatus."

What about, "Turns out Mix Diskerud and Alejandro Bedoya are not Defensive Midfielders" for our upcoming qualifiers.

Or maybe, "Central Defenders who don't speak a common first language and don't play in the same league should not be favored to start over experienced MLS players."

At this point, I have no qualms with comparing Klinsmann to one of the shitty European retread managers that get passed around African confederations.

Well, yes. But, I get your point.

The Jurgy era needs to end to send the U.S. into the next epoch of competitive world soccer.

And I feel they could easily remove him and not make it look bad if they were worried about that too. Just say his dual duties and technical director and HC were too time consuming and with the growing popularity of the sport in this country we felt his time was better used as technical director and not at the expense of coaching the national team.

Done.

In a dream world that would be best case, because for all his flaws as manager, he is an excellent technical director, "big picture" kind of guy. But his ego would never allow himself to be relieved of coaching duties.

This is would be a pretty good outcome for all parties involved. Jurgen has a done a lot for USA Soccer as a whole, so I don't really want him to be removed from everything he's doing.
