I'll never understand the Liverpool-Suarez thing. He dropped you like a bad habit and still you line up to knight for him when he's proven so many times he's a complete pos.

I mean if he was still at Liverpool I get it you have to support your guy or if it wasn't so obvious what a piece of trash he is but I've never seen anything like this in sports.

Well, my previous response wasn't out of a defense for him. Just something I had read. I have no idea if he did it or not.

That said, he was amazing for us. He always wanted to move to Barcelona. I have no hard feelings whatsoever.

He went a year and a half without a suspension.

It was a good run.

So that rules out you supporting your entire squad basically?

The people IN football love him. Even Cheillini wasn't that mad at him.

He has mad respect from those that play the game.

You could add up all the transgressions from every Chelsea player in the 8 or so years I've been a fan and they don't equal what Suarez alone has been able to accomplish in the last 5-6 years. He's a POS deal with it.

For his ability I'm sure.

Nobody respects the way he conducts himself on the field.

Lol not sure if serious. Terry alone is worse than Suarez. He was even voted biggest douchebag in all of soccer by the SB, beating out Suarez and even Rafa Marquez. That is some feat!

What has he done since leaving Liverpool? All I can remember from his time at Liverpool was the alleged racial slur to Eva and the two bites.

Alleged for sure. Yea the bites were insane.

But he's not hitting laughing gas and going clubbing and shite.

He's a psycho on the field no doubt but by all accounts extremely well mannered and a decent family man off the field.

You want someone who is an animal on the field and not one off. It's just Suarez sometimes takes it a wee bit too far. He's a great player and I envy that Liverpool had him at one point.

There is a difference between being an animal on the field like John Terry, Steven Gerrard, Roy Keane etc... and being a thug pos diving dirty cheat count pos like Diego Costa and Luis Suarez.

He stepped on Abdennour about a month ago. Nothing came of it because La Liga doesn't like to review things, which has its upsides.

Because he's a great player who gave everything for LFC when he was on the pitch... By all accounts a great person off the pitch!

We were a club that was not at his level, at this stage in his career... He deserved to go and play on that stage... He was the missing piece for Barcelona...

I don't care about what happened at Espanyol, in the heat of a pretty testy match, and I somehow doubt he was the only one at fault... The good thing now, is when he gets suspended, it doesn't actually impact my club...

This question from a Chelsea/Terry supporter is quite funny, you should know why...

I think he´s definitely the player you want on your side, were he an American football player. His intensity, quality and dedication are off the charts, and at times, get the better of him.

I think it´s clear, it´s all on the pitch. He´s not a POS as a person.

I think Diego Costa is the same way.

Suarez is truly one of my favorite players to watch. He captured my imagination the year that Liverpool finished second in the league. The apex of the season was that 3-3 draw at Sellhurst Park where Suarez became a tragic hero. Him breaking down in tears and having to be brought off the pitch by teammates is what makes sport great. He put everything into it and did more than any one person could be expected to do for a team, but he still felt he could have done more.

No matter how many stupid acts Suarez will commit on the pitch, I will always look upon him fondly for giving me, a neutral observer, such joy watching him play.

Who cares? You're as obsessed with him as LFC fans are.
