I'm just glad the Europeans kept it all about the purity of the sport and didn't money grab by inviting every country that could muster 12 warm bodies. (Dutch joke has to be in there somewhere).

This would make sense if this year's Euros didn't mean anything and were played outside of Europe.
And the expanded field has made for a more entertaining tournament. No one's getting their brains beaten in like Haiti, Jamaica or Panama.

No, it hasn't. At all. When 2/3 of the teams advance individual group games mean very little. And the expansion was nothing more than a cash grab.
